Photo preparation guide
Prepare your RainDance AI video, step by step
To prepare a RainDance AI video with your own photos, choose one clear, authorized adult photo for each of the two character roles. Assign the dock and waterfront performer roles, select a video quality, then review the generated silent MP4 and add music when publishing. This guide explains preparation and the intended generation flow.
Choose your quality and submit your video in the generator. Your completed download is private.
1. Choose one clear portrait for each role
Use a JPG or PNG under 10 MB for each person. Choose a sharp image with one visible face, even lighting and no sunglasses or heavy obstruction. A near-front view is easier to inspect than a distant profile. Start from the original image when you can; a compressed screenshot loses useful detail.
Avoid group photos, heavy filters and images that hide the person’s features. Choose clear photos that show the clothing and body you want to use as visual references. Use only photos of adults who have agreed to this AI video use.
2. Assign the two portraits deliberately
Place the first photo in the dock role and the second in the waterfront performer role. Check both labels and thumbnails before continuing. These assignments guide the characters across the generated scenes; results should be reviewed for consistency.
This workflow uses two character reference photos, one for each role. Single-photo generation is not available in this version. You can change or remove your local photo selections without submitting a video task.
3. Sign in, choose quality and submit
Sign in with Google, choose two portraits and select HD (768p) or 2K. Confirm permission to use both portraits and review the credit cost. Buy a one-time credit pack if your balance is insufficient.
Follow your submitted task in My videos. Review the characters, clothing and transitions before sharing the completed result.
4. Review the full clip before sharing
Your complete video is a 27-second, 4:3 silent MP4. HD (768p) uses 100 credits; 2K uses 200 credits. Submit once, then follow production and download your result in My videos.
Review close-ups and shared scenes for consistent character appearance, clothing and movement. AI-generated details may vary between shots. When downloads become available, save your silent MP4 and add music available to your account in the app where you publish.
If your photos do not look suitable
Start with a sharper, unobstructed photo if the reference is difficult to read. If a completed video has inconsistent character appearance, contact support with the task ID before repeating the same request.
